Community Outreach Program

This year, we will be choosing different charitable organizations to support each month.  We will hold 50/50 drawings at each chapter meeting, the proceeds of which will be donated to the charitable organization designated for that month.  We have also invited representatives from each organization to come speak to the chapter to share their mission.

Currently: 

This month (March) we are donating to Autism Speaks in order to provide programs that help people with autism achieve their full potential, as well as increase global understanding and acceptance of autistic people.

In past years, SVPAYO Members have: 

• Donated funds to Toys For Tots
• Donated funds to Second Harvest Food Bank
• Donated proceeds from sale of Red Dress Pins to the American Heart Assn
• Donated backpacks and school Supplies to Family Giving Tree
• Volunteered to prepare backpacks and school supplies for Family Giving Tree
• Collected gifts for Family Giving Tree Holiday Gift Drive
• Donated Toiletries to Sunnyvale Community Services
• Donated Reading Books to Trace Elementary
• Donated chemistry lab supplies to Santa Clara School District
• Volunteered at Sunnyvale Art and Wine Festival

• Donated holiday gifts, toiletries and wrapping supplies to Next Door Solutions
