The Silicon Valley Chapter of PayrollOrg is founded on Education. We offer a variety of educational opportunities to help provide the skills needed to meet the ever changing Payroll World. Our goal is to provide education opportunities, so that our members have the knowledge to excel as Payroll Professionals in our community.

CPP / FPC Study Groups

The Silicon Valley Chapter of PayrollOrg (SVPAYO) is excited to offer our annual CPP/FPC Study Group to help individuals prepare for the upcoming CPP and FPC exams. Each year, we partner with fellow local chapters (SFBAC, East Bay, and Central Coast) to bring the payroll community together for a supportive, exam-focused learning experience.

Sessions are led by multiple CPPs from across the area and are designed to help you build confidence in the material while also connecting with other attendees and seasoned payroll professionals throughout the region. In 2026, we're rolling out updated flashcard sets and podcasts! Be sure to join us to support your journey toward your CPP or FPC certification.

California Payroll Conference

We invite Payroll Professionals from all over to join us for our annual California Payroll Conference. Our chapter is one of the many chapters which join together and participate in Conference held in various California cities. Our chapter members hold a number of important seats on the board for this conference. 

Continuing Education

Our chapter strives to provide expert speakers with up-to-date topics. By attending our meetings you will stay informed on the latest payroll regulations and best practice techniques to keep you and your company in compliance. All meetings feature a topic that earns PayrollOrg Recertification Credit Hours (RCH). Stay update to date with the latest information by reviewing the news on PayrollOrg! 

PayrollOrg

PayrollOrg hosts classes in the Santa Clara Area throughout the year. Be sure to visit their website at PayrollOrg Education for the classes and dates. Members of PayrollOrg are offered the courses at a special discounted rate.

PayrollOrg holds an Annual Congress every May in a different location across the US. PayrollOrg Congress offers over 150 education workshops with over 1000 exhibitors in a vendor hall which gives you the opportunity to view new products and network with fellow Payroll Professionals.
