DOL Clarifies ‘White Collar’ Exemption Salary Threshold. On May 15, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) issued a final rule to clarify the minimum salary level for the Fair Labor Standards Act executive, administrative, professional, outside sales, and computer employee or “white collar” exemptions.
ACA Employer Shared Responsibility Payments Adjusted for 2027. The IRS has updated the employer shared responsibility payment amounts for 2027 under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
IRS Announces HSA Limits for 2027. The IRS announced the 2027 maximum contribution levels for health savings accounts (HSAs) and out-of-pocket spending limits and deductible minimums for high deductible health plans that must be used in conjunction with HSAs.
DOL Publishes Four FLSA Opinion Letters. The DOL published four opinion letters to help employers comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
